The universe is my God

The universe is magical. Listening ever more deeply to her beating pulse. I witnessed a spectacle, for me, she put on a show. The atmospheric skyline, and with this all the mystery it holds.

As relaxing in my hammock paying great respect to a beautiful scene unravel. Brightly shining moon, just beyond the half moon stage. Large in size, yellow in colour, peaks and crests all within reaching distance. Brightly shining star impeccably placed above the moon’ top left hand corner.

Rapid. A blackish like mist starts to circulate the sky, with it blackening elements of the moon. Splurges. A bilateral drawing, splitting the moon in more than two. And another. Black fogs appears. Travelling. Spreading along the skyline, making its way down to earth, also passing through the moon. And another one. And another.

My imagination at this point running also. A portal come to levitate me away? With so much unknown about the universe then could this not a rational consideration? It didn’t feel far-fetched given its extraordinary nature. No of description can do justice of the bizarre nature as to what was seen. I search frantically the next day. It was not as a result of comet Catalina. Attempts at logical information fed.

This unique feature in the skyline lasted for a very long time. All the while the moon never seemed so close, intensity reaching its zenith and beyond. Almost blinding.  Brightly shining. Lifelike in appearance. Visible peaks moving in circular motions. Exerting its authority in the sky, Lighting up the blacked river, as what comes with night. Beams shining, projecting down leaving visible trails behind.

I am blessed to witness this magic. It makes you appreciate all the fascinating existences of our world. Existence of human life would almost certainly not be possible with one element unchanged. Every tilt, position in relation to the other, perfect accelerations or the combination of atmospheric gases. The sun, the moon and the stars. And all else. Elements of survival.

What would our earth be like if any one of these elements had been different? What kind of species would earth make room for? And what would they look like? Would they be more or less advanced than humans? And does that currently exist in another galaxy? These hypothetical questions are ultimately endless. I used the word ‘our’ in reference to earth, which would seem that way by the manner in which we exert our authority in all aspects. Only borrowed. We don’t show enough gratitude, allowing earth to suffer rather than providing with nourishment. Silly humans and our short-term selfish egotistical ambitions!

Well, I say thanks to the universe for allowing me to exist. I am grateful and forever in your debt. The universe. The greatest being of all. With your undiscoverable secrets, and  shrouding mystery, your exacting clockwork, and intricacy. You’re fascinate me. You are life. A giver and a receiver.

Expanding and infinite. You are endless.

You are truth. Unbounded. Limitless. And limitless becomes the scope of my imagination, dreams and waking life. I am thankful. Always. For in you. I know anything is possible.
